I have never seen a single book that was a feminist one that described males as being inferior. You should stop posting stuff that is not true. Besides obvisously with attitudes like the ones in GWS feminism is needed more than ever.

It is talking about feeling happy and contented of what we have now even though there are something that we do not have. the author wants the readers to make out two lists A and B which are The things you think you need in order to be happy and The blessings you already have respectively. For example , let say , in list A you put one million dollar and u put eyes in list B. try to think , you would rather have one million dollar or a paur of eyes? of course we want a pair of eyes!this shown that the list of what you have is much greater than the list of what you think you need in order to be happy. Rabbi Meyer thinks that in the present society , we always focus on what we do not have and seldom paying attention to what we have.like some people, they spend their whole life to get what they think will make them happy and they ignored what they already have,eventually they end up regretted . What he try to tell us is that learn to notice the wonderful blessings we have beside striving for things we do not have. Finally , this is a sentence which i think is meaningful.Strive for all you want, also take pleasure in what's in your backyard already.

That is the way the playoffs are set up. The Packers were seeded #6 in their conference and the Steelers were #2 in theirs. The Steelers earned their first round bye earning one of the top two seeds in the playoffs. The Packers were lucky enough to get into the playoffs. If the Giants had won their last playoff game, the Packers would have been eliminated after week 17. They most definately wouldn't have been in a position to play for a Super Bowl.

Alright, so I went to this game and on the way back we took a bus which was known as the fan bus which has a mix of grades from freshman to seniors. Anways It was about 10 pm and I'm talking to my friends like usual when all of a sudden a girl behind me takes my hat and says I like your hat. Faint pink line on first response test, am I really pregnant?

Not to be picky but Ireland is not at all representative of a typical European lifestyle at that time. I would say that Ireland at that time was very impoverished as you mention and the unemployment forced many Irish males to go to Great Britain and America for work. Some came back and some stayed and never saw their families again (like the author's father). I would mention that with poverty the cl structure was vastly exaggerated in practice as the 19th century living conditions of the author's existence compared to the woman's who was lending money at loanshark rates to her neighbors. I would also mention that the Irish character kept a sense of humor about their problems and retained a faith in God and the Church but also a supersticious understanding of God... and the obvious problems of poverty complementing reliance on alcohol and vice versa.

Okay so there's this ''Nerd'' in my cl who I really hate. I was being nice to him and all that and I thought we'd probably get along. Instead all he did was ignore me like if I asked him what was wrong and why he was avoiding me he'd laugh at me then give me deathstares then say stuff behind my back call me a ginger ***** a slut a tramp wishes he got rid of me forever ect for no reason I had a crush on him before now he hates me. He tried to get this autistic kid in my cl to date me then dump me for a laugh (at least that's what his friend said he was planning to do) he'd always yell at me to get to cl even if i wasn't even late...before cl one day he was reading a dictionary then i mumbled to myself he slammed the book down, turned right toward me looked me right in the eye and yelled at me ''If you are GOING to say something you say it in my face, you get that?!'' He's only mean to me if I ever helped him with stuff all I'd get is a sarcastic ''thank you'' he still says crap behind my back and glares at me from a distance I can't even be in the same room or cafeteria as him without him going mad at me for it. Lets think logically for a second. If, for instance, all the guns do get taken away, what will it do besides further take away our rights? All that will happen is these guys who are being hit hard for drug trafficking in South America and Mexico will just switch over to smuggling guns. Then people's houses will be broken into much more often, and we wont have any way to defend ourselves. You cant depend on the police for protection all the time either. Terrorists could pull off an attack much easier as well. Regardless of whether we sell guns here or not, bad guys will get them some way or another. Homemade guns arent out of the question either. People will make projectile weapons with CO2 and stuff like that. It doesnt make sense to do that at all. Thoughts?

Smoke from fireplace not going straight up?

(1) check the pipe to insure no blockage (is damper open ?). I have a wood stove in my basement. Have to clean the chimney out every couple of months due to creosote buildup. In summer , birds sometimes makes nests in chimney. I have my own brush kit to clean the chimney. (2) Did you husband chamber or line up the stove pipe in the correct direction ? A piece of stove pipe is wide on one end and smaller on the other. The pipe should be attached from wide on stove to smaller into the next pipe. So that the smoke flow-es into the smaller pipe end. I know , did not explain this clearly. (3) You may need to extend the pipe on roof higher. The longer the pipe the better the Draft ( sucking power of smoke). Of course, your problem may not be any of the 3 items here. Good Luck !

How much will medicine help me if I have (adulut) ADD?

I'm the type of person who doesn't even go to the doctor for a check up regularly. I stay away from pshycologists at all costs. However, out of desperation, I went and was diagnosed with ADD. I've always struggled with EVERYTHING pretty much. I'm hands down the most unorganized person my family and friends has ever met and they remind me daily. This is really effecting everything in my life. My attempts to change have all been futile and for my kids, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be the mom they need me to be. I just don't like the idea of taking a medicine that alters you mind. What I hate worse, is the thought of staying the same. Will the medicine REALLY, REALLY help?

Seems to me that if they were indeed "armed locals trying to fight al-queda" that they wouldn't have anti-aircraft weapons or mortars, nor would they be advancing on US troop positions with them. Not everyone over there is innocent as you seem to believe, yes it is tragic that some of the locals lost thier lives, what is more tragic is that they are helping to foster the insurgency and extending the time the US troops need to be there. If they would stop the fighting, we could finish fixing what we broke and get the hell out of there.

Then after '91 things went sour and they went down hill. They started writing shitty emo music and they did what every other rock band at that time did. Then in 2003 they really put the nail in the coffin and went over board with horrible percussion and no guitar solos. So, that's they're history. It's much easier to get kills in Modern Warfare 2. The damage is much higher, stopping power was in the game, and the guns had only bullet spread and no recoil. You could also carry much deadlier and accurate weapons, and the killstreaks stacked up so that you could get your first 5 kills and then another 3-15 for just sitting back and using air support.

I give him a 9 actually. It is a big miss that he did not fight Mosley. It would've been a big fight after they both beat Oscar De La Hoya (late 2000 or early 2001). That loses him the only point I can take from him. Not only has he fought this who's who's list of fighters...he always challenged himself against bigger and better . He went undefeated through 140, 147, 154, until he ran into Hopkins at 160 (who is probably the greatest Middleweight champion ever). 3 of his opponents made Bert Sugar's list of the 100 greatest fighters of all time ( Whitaker, Hopkins and Jones). I think it should have happened after we started 0-2. The offense was abysmal in those games and Huard wasn't playing well at all - he still isn't playing well. I personally wanted Croyle to begin the season as the starter. I know he didn't look good in the preseason, but the Chiefs need to develop a franchise QB and they can't do that when they continually have a journeyman in his mid 30's taking the snaps and a high round draft pick holding the clipboard on the sidelines. Croyle definitely needs some work on his mechanics and I'm pretty sure the rest of this season is going to be just as ugly as that Denver game, but it may be time to start looking towards next year. I mean, even if the Chiefs do make the playoffs, which I don't see happening now (we really needed those last 2 games), they would probably get destroyed in the first round. i would make tacos! those are the easiest but an impressive dish. plus all guys pretty much love mexican food. so buy some ground beef and simply put it in the pan and cook it (make sure theres no red color in the meat left but then again dont burn it lol) and to season the meat u could ether add this sauce that comes in a can called el pato sauce (thats if he likes food on the spicier side but its not Too spicy so it should be perfect) so all u gotta do is simply add a SMALL can of that in with the meat while ur stirring it around to cook it.. then when thats done u can either buy taco shells that are already hard and ready to eat or u can heat some up (email me and i can explain this part better if ur interested) and then just chop up some lettuce (either romaine lettuce or iceberg) and chop up some tomatoes, onions and shred some cheese or buy the cheese thats already shredded and get some sour cream and salsa.. oh and if u reaaaally want to impress him i have a great guacomole recipe (email me for that tho) and then ur pretty much good to go! its delish! so hope i helped some! have fun!! feel free to email me if u wanna talk!

I am excited about this season with the merger of Indy and Cart with some of the road course tracks. The race that I have my eye on and will attend is the Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix. My husband was diagnosed with a "smoker's vessel" but he is not a smoker. He has an occasional cigar in the summer - 3 months out of the year. He had a heart cathetirization and found nothing wrong-no blockage anywhere in his arteries. No high blood pressure, he never had a heart attack, the ekg came back clear and his stress tests didn't show anything. Is a narrowing or "smoker's vessel" treatable? We were told that they couldn't put a stent in because the artery was too narrow. He can't have a by p surgery because there is no blockage. Are there any cardiologists out there who can shed some light to this? Is this hereditary? His father always had chest pains and kept taking antacids. He lived to be 87, My husband just turned 59. Ticks on dogs/in house?

My dad put some dirt in our backyard a few months ago and ever since then, we've noticed ticks on our dogs. We've been spraying our yard and house, put medicine on the dogs monthly, had them groomed and shaved, but we've still been finding ticks on the dogs. The thing now is, the ticks bite our dogs and then fall off when they ingest the medicine, so now we have ticks loose on the kitchen floor (where the dogs stay). How can we completely get rid of the ticks?

RISK! Experts, I need some advice?

So, recently, I became addicted to RISK. I need some help with my strategy, however. What I usually try to do is simoultaneously conquer Australia and South America. I would then fortify both there borders. I would then attack and take Central America, to prevent anyone from getting the Continental Bonus of Na. I would then move to either Africa or NA from SA. If I took Africa, I would then take Europe and then go back to NA. If I took NA, I would go to Europe and then go to Africa. (Unless there is an exceptional situation, I would go for Africa first, as I would only have to deal with enemies from Europe, and I can get a quicker continental bonus). I will then continue an advance, in which 1 turn I will rush and thinkly spread my forces, then reinforce, rush, reinforce, etc. Sometimes this works, but sometimes it doesn't. This is because I sometimes get trapped in SA. Do you guys have any advice? Thanks. Also, sometimes I will fall into a pattern of a battle over Central America. I take it, a North American enemy takes it, and back and forth. It is hard to prevent this when you can only defend with 2 at a time. Any advice would be appreciated.

How is oil getting on my MAP sensor?

Oil is finding its way on my MAP sensor in my '99 Plymouth Neon and I have no idea how or why. It's causing oil to get on my spark plugs or so my mechanic says. He said that if you don't drive your car on the Interstate from time to time oil will aculate in your cars piping and that's how it got on my MAP sensor. Needless to say my car broke down 3 days ago, got it fixed, now its shaking again.

Hi, I have a 2003 porsche 911 c2 with fabspeed max flo mufflers on it, and 18 inch Champion RG5 rims on it. According to online sources, the mufflers add 10hp and 8 lb ft of torque, and the champion rims are 3.1 pounds lighter than stock rims.The rims definitely help the handling on it; I know first hand. Stock this car does a 4.9 0-60, so what do you think the 0-60 time would be after these modifications?
