Importance six trigonometric funcitons?

okay, so our teacher always gives us problems about how to solve cos*= tan2 +csc* and stuff like that, but I don't seem to find any relevance with my life, I feel like theres no point of studying it. Can you please give examples on how can I use this to my everyday life cause I just feel so wasted...
