Protection from P2P Programs?

I love and use file sharing programs. I use Ares and Frostwire. I use Avast anti-virus free edition and it supports Ares but doesn't show Frostwire. The thing is Frostwire is almost identical to Limewire which is supported by Avast. I prefer Frostwire over Limewire because Frostwire's free edition has turbo connection where Limewire's paid version has turbo connection. So, my question is does anyone happen to know if Frostwire might be supported as well by Avast since it's extremely similar to the supported Limewire?
