Why can’t I see my own typos? Though I try, I get chastised at work for having typos, I got tested for?

Peter...Few of us can edit our own work and the more you read it the more your brain "skips" over the typo. It is not an illness or disability. You simply need to enlist the help of another person to read you work and mark the typos. Spell checks are great, but they miss a lot of mistakes.
