Girl help how to start talking to her?

Ok so to make a long story short I told this girl on Facebook she was cute but not in a straightforward way it was one of those pictures that describe your friends and you can tag them in well I tagged her as cute and she said Aw thanks :). Then I said no problem I only speak the true and she ended up liking it. Well I didnt think nothing of it other then that I called her cute because I needed to tag someone there and thought she was cute. But the next day she ended up liking my picture on Facebook of me and one of my statuses. Now I know that dont seem like much but I think that could be something because she just started to do that after I called her cute. But anyway I needed help I guess on how to go about talking to her because shes never on chat so I figured I would just start out messaging her over private message. But any ideas on what to say to help start this thing off on the right track? Lol I know it sounds lame and longer than I thought but thanks for the help.
