Are U.S. military operations going too far in Iraq when civilians are being sacrificed?

Yes America is all bad.... is always wrong and is the only one causing any of the problems there. When the tales of two oponents differ one should ALWAYS side with the anti-american viewpoint no matter what the facts or who expresses it. It doesn't matter that the intitial bombardment was of actual armed militia coming at the US soldiers, and the locals rushed to the aid of them when they were killed. Seems to me that if they were indeed "armed locals trying to fight al-queda" that they wouldn't have anti-aircraft weapons or mortars, nor would they be advancing on US troop positions with them. Not everyone over there is innocent as you seem to believe, yes it is tragic that some of the locals lost thier lives, what is more tragic is that they are helping to foster the insurgency and extending the time the US troops need to be there. If they would stop the fighting, we could finish fixing what we broke and get the hell out of there.
