My wife wants me to end a friendship with someone?

Your wife does not have the right to tell you who can and can't speak to, if she can't even tell you the reason why. If she was so upset by what your friend to your wife, then why didn't she come to you and SHOW you the conversation that she and your friend had? why did she wait until NOW to tell you about it? your wife is very insecure, selfish and pushy. what if you turn your back on your friend, then meet someone else and then your wife demands you not to be friends with THIS person? you have known your friend for a long time, and she sounds very trustworthy, and like you say, you guys dont really talk but like once a month right? so whats the problem. tell your wife to cut her attitude or take a hike, she has no right to boss you around and bark out ultimatums. she's either jealous, insecure or has done something you don't know about to make her react this way.
