Herm Edwards announced.....?

I think it should have happened after we started 0-2. The offense was abysmal in those games and Huard wasn't playing well at all - he still isn't playing well. I personally wanted Croyle to begin the season as the starter. I know he didn't look good in the preseason, but the Chiefs need to develop a franchise QB and they can't do that when they continually have a journeyman in his mid 30's taking the snaps and a high round draft pick holding the clipboard on the sidelines. Croyle definitely needs some work on his mechanics and I'm pretty sure the rest of this season is going to be just as ugly as that Denver game, but it may be time to start looking towards next year. I mean, even if the Chiefs do make the playoffs, which I don't see happening now (we really needed those last 2 games), they would probably get destroyed in the first round. Croyle will get some playing time under his belt, cross your fingers that King Carl and Herm do something about the o-line before the 5th or 6th round of the draft and hopefully we'll have a better team next year.
