Is this the right thing to do to get closure on a relationship?

Your doing the right thing :) Maybe she cares about you and shes scared of hurting you by saying her feelings have changed but if she loved you properly she would be in a relationship with you and you would both sort her problems out together as a couple. Shes treating you unfairly, and althought you love her its the best thing for you letting her go :) CHIN UP
