Why is it that I see the oddest interracial couples in the smaller cities and smaller towns?

Smaller towns don't have as wide a variety of people than the city, so there are less potential partners to choose from right from the start. Also, having had spent a fair bit of time in more rural areas of my state (my Aunt lives in the Country, whereas I live very close to the city), I am confident in saying that the further out you go, the more accepting and kind-hearted the people are. They aren't half as judgemental and compeditive than city people . . . and this goes for virtually everything - clothes, personal achievements, money and, in this case, interracial relationships.
